This artwork is the second work of the series "Korea's mountain" which stemmed from the contemplation about korea's cultural identity. The characteristic of embroidery was utilized to create an image that surpassed the limitations of two dimensional works. The work is based on the reinterpretation of “Sun, Moon and Five Peaks“ a drawing which was displayed as the background of the king during Josen Dynasty (korea's ancient dynasty).
*This series is based on a personal experiment in an attemp to seek Korea's true identity with the keyword "korea's mountain."
